Corey rozenboom M.s.Owner and Research DirectorCorey Rozenboom is the owner and Research Director of Alpha Ag Research. A 3rd generation farmer born and raised in Iowa, Corey enjoys all things outdoors. His passion is enjoying God's creation and the natural world by experiencing it hands-on. He has a B.A. in Agriculture: Plant Science from Dordt University and M.S. in Agronomy: Plant Breeding from Kansas State University. Corey's entire professional career has been in field testing and experimentation serving both public and private sectors of agriculture.

terry friend M.s.field research scientistTerry Friend joined Alpha Ag Research in April of 2020 as the Field Research Scientist after serving in the seed research industry for 21 years with a major seed company. He also has worked in Research IT, International Agronomy, and Trait Integration. He has a B.A. in Agriculture: Plant Science from Dordt University and M.S. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from North Dakota State University. Terry enjoys visiting family, hiking in national parks, running, and trying to keep old clocks working.

cooper smith B.S.senior research associateCooper Smith joined Alpha Ag Research in April 2019 as a Senior Research Associate. He has a B.S. in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Cooper is passionate about finding new and innovative ways to help growers be more productive and sustainable. He currently leads variety trial projects in addition to performing field scouting, in-season observations and all field operations throughout the season. Cooper enjoys fishing and other outdoors activities.

John hoflandResearch fabrication technicianJohn Hofland is a 3rd generation farmer born and raised in northwest Iowa. As a highly skilled fabricator and full-time farmer, John assists Alpha Ag Research with several specialty design projects needed for field trial applications and data collection. His expertise in agriculture and shop work result from his passion for creativity and working with his hands. John enjoys being outdoors, farming and singing loudly when he thinks no one else is around.
